i just got out of bohemian rhapsody and literally if you get the chance to, PLEASE go watch it, it’s so good!!!!!!!!
they mentioned freddie’s REAL NAME and show his family a lot (who are Persian!!!!), they mentioned freddie’s bisexuality BY NAME!!!! and freddie has multiple kisses with men in the movie!!!!! they also mentioned his religion, zoroastrianism (albeit very briefly)!!!!!!!!
please go support this movie, it’s so important to people like me who love music and are LGBTQ+, or people who are aspiring musicians and also non-white. this movie is incredible and i think it honors freddie’s legacy so well. i cried multiple times during the film, and i was shaking out of pure joy after it was over!!!!!
tl;dr: please, if you have the chance, support Bohemian Rhapsody in theaters!!!!!
